I had a couple Garretts back in the 80s: An ADS 5 then an ADS 7. They had the controls on the side. Those are VERY deep seeking detectors once you learn them. What great advice everyone! Thanks so much. And Tom, I read your articles about the CZ-3D. 'Informative' is an understatement! More like astonishing. What a couple of great reads. I have now been going through the posts on this forum. I am REALLY leaning twoards the CZ-3D. I found some pretty old stuff with my last detector (CZ-7) at good depths.
