There are certain locations in the discrimination numbers of the F75SE that sensitivity increases.....such as 4 down to 1. Also, Disc setting of 6 is the ideal starting point for unsing the Monotone technique of unmasking. What is the corresponding number on the T2??? Also, there is a setting where the audio is modulated, which would prove useful. Is this setting in the DISC mode at a certain

On the T2SE, is this unit and the F75SE close enough in likeness to do the same type of unmasking technique with it? I am about to make a ne thread on the T2SE asking for corresponding numbers with the F75SE.

I am a one year man. I started detecting one year ago. In March. Started with an ACE250. I discovered Detecting forums abit before this because I am an avid airgun nut and already know how to research via the internet,. I also know to take stuff with a grain of mineralized dirt. (Wiht regard to info gleened from forums). I have determined NasaTom to be a man to listen to. But Tom, you are miles a

What a quest I have been on. Ya know, from the very first, when I first started detecting just over a year ago, I remember being dumbfounded and frustrated at why I saw people getting all of these wonderful depths on youtube, and reporting digging seated dimes and what not at 11 inches.Hearing just a faint hi tone. Thus began my metal detector quest. I wanted ME one of them deep seekers to hit c

I bought this detector from NASATom brand new about two weeks ago. It air tests a dime at 12.2 inches. It is quiet running. Everything that I ever read about NasaTom's CZ-3D's is true. There are NO issues with this detector. There ARE issues with my Tennessee red mineral-rich dirt . It doesn't matter what detector I run thru my test garden, the mineralization reduces the depth fro

I go out to my test garden where I have mercury dimes and a couple of Washington silver quarters buried at various depths. I choose a detector and go out and swing over them. It's not quite the same as a new old homesite or schoolyard, but shoot-fire, it helps satisfy the craving. There......I have opened up. I feel better now.

Thank you. Just a thought. The place I have been hunting, while having it's share of nails in the ground, is not so trashy so that I cannot use the stock coil. That coil indicates where every nail is and they are not as thick as I first thought. When I ran my AT Pro over the same ground I thought: "Oh No, another nail bed" because of the roar that the unit makes when over iron

Laughing out loud!!!!!!! This kinda reminds me of a TV show I watched on National Geographic channel the other night! I was astounded at the way the hobby was portrayed!

Good heavens, I have been reading these posts and am starting to feel like quite an embicile myself. I started detecting last March! That's one year ago. I started with a new ACE 250. Then an AT Pro. Then....Etrac, F75SE, Teknetics G2, Omega, another G2 (sold first one), Another AT Pro, (sold first one) Another F75SE (sold first one) and finally, unless I've skipped one, a NasaTom CZ-

The calibrated CZ-3D that you recently sold me is awesome. I just read at the Fisher Labs store where you get almost the same depth with the small 5 inch coil as with the stock coil! If this is so, this little coil should do well in nail carpeted areas. True? Do you advocate the use of the sniper type coil on the CZ-3D?

I appreciate the kind words and extend sympathy and prayer for your uncle. This disease doesn't play favorites! It attacks and when it does, it's never pretty. Thankfully, I am in a position to be momma's full-time caregiver. We have an oxygen machine if needed (her oxy was running 98 today which is normal), a nubulizer for breathing treatments, and a suction machine for removing

Abought 4 days ago I bought a Tom Dankowski Tuned CZ-3D. And in the box he included his Inland Detecting DVD. I was setting around waiting for my relief to arrive at sit with my mother (whom I am primary care-giver as she has Alzheimer's and is bed ridden) and I was watching the Real World hunt segment of the video. So when I reached the brand new homeplace later that day, it was all fresh

The very first day that I hunted with my etrac (long gone) I pulled a muscle in back that took me straight to the ground in the fetal position. I finally stretched out and worked the spasm out as cars drove by! But it took me 20 minutes to where I could reach down and pick up the etrac to set it in the back of the truck. I am not kidding one little bit. And as far as I know, I don't have re

Yes,I found the show to place focus on monetary value of each find. And whoever finds the most gets to perform some type of mayhem to the one that found the least. Doubt I'll waste another half hour watching it again.

I pretty much know how the AT Pro does. It's pretty good in nail beds. Although I did own an Etrac at one time, I didn't give it a chance. BUT i do remember that the gain would go completely silent when working over nails making me wonder if it was even detecting anything! Can anyone with experieince with the tywo shed some light? Thanks

I was having so much fun. First I had An ACE250 and I went over the sites with it. Then, an AT Pro, and found more, then a F75SE. then a G2. Then an Omega. Then I sold them all. Then I boucht an AT Pro, and A f75SE. But I kep the Omega through out all the selling. I also rebought a G2 becuase I had found so many bullets in the woods with that unit that I had a sentimental attchment to it. I am

Thanks "TheRover61". Yes, I watched nuggetnoggin use his over on youtube. I asked him about using it in thick iron and he said that it wouldn't be his first choice in squarte nail beds. But yes, I have thought about the infinium. I have never owned a pulse induction machine. I may get one. Thanks for the reply and I appreciate all the other replies as well. Kevin

Or is it too near the platform of the AT Pro for AT Pro owners to invest in one. It's just a few khz higher in frequency isn't it? And that is the only difference?? What about you DanielTn???? Do you think that the higher frequency would be beneficial enough in Tennessee loam to be considered???? or is it too near the AT Pro in performance to justify adding it to the arsenal?? Thanks.

I want to rule out the ones that I have or had: Minelab Etrac, Teknetics G2 and Omega 8000, Fisher F75SE, Garrett AT Pro and ACE250. I want a detector that will hit deep in my red Tennessee dirt. None of the above mentioned detectors, with the possible exception of the AT Pro, will detect a coin near the air test standard of each unit. For instance with both F75SE's that I have had, I have
