Density of metal, aluminum is very low and gold very high. It would be a very accurate metal detector. Would it need a new detector technology to do that.
VLF detectors are based on magnetic and conductive properties. Is it possible to add density of metal to a vlf?
So Tom you need to develop a new metal detector based on density of metal and you would be very rich man.

I'm a fan of the Tejon and Lobo ST with GB adjusted neg with concentric coils.
The Legend is darn good. Might get a Deus 2 in the future. I'm waiting to see what Minelab has coming and maybe Fisher.
Detectors I have:
Nokta Legend w/ 2 coils
Equinox 800 w/ 11" coil
Xp Orx w/ 9" hf coil
Gold Kruzer w/ 3 coils

Great video. It was great seeing the good finds coming with iffy signals. It was nice getting a bit of a high tone, checking with pinpoint to see if it was centered and digging non-ferrous targets.
Thank you for the video.

I would like deep targets a little louder or a setting where it can be adjusted to how loud deep targets are.
I have some hearing loss and deep target are a whisper. I hear the whisper but a little louder would be nice.

Great hearing your start into metal detecting. My first detector I built also. I don't remember the brand. In 1972 I was 16 and was able try a Compass detector my uncle had. I was hooked then. I saved my money and bought a Compass 77b Pro. with an 8" & 10" coils.
I didn't find all the good stuff like you did but it was enough to get me hooked.

The Nokta Gold Kruzer and Garrett Goldmaster 24k are both good on micro gold too. Both these detectors will hit the small 10k white gold earring.

Hi Dilek,
I would like to know if the controller is removeable with a screw in the back of the handle like the Simplex.
Send me an email if you would like.

See that the depth and separation are still there. See if it hits that 14" dime. See how it performs on small gold earrings and small gold chains. You need a smaller coil for the small gold.
Hopefully you can get a 9" coil too.
Thank you for your tests you do. I like your mild ground. It's like mine.

Sorry to hear that.
I can't hardly believe anybody would do that. How did they know it was in your backpack? When I go out detecting and I leave my car unlocked, keys in it, and other detectors. Now I'm going to have to lock it up.
