Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE

Nice find... even if not too deep... maybe it was among the iron... but not all wonderful finds are deep....Congratulations...

Re: "UNDER THE IRON CARPET"

Tesoro Mojave is in this test the type of detector on which you cannot adjust the "recovery speed" or other detector settings... In the Rutus VERSA test ..for example, you can see how to optimize the reactivity setting,,and also the setting of *Iron filters.. to achieve the best separation...

Re: "UNDER THE IRON CARPET"

So far, the first testing of detectors in the 2D separation test "Monte Magnum" is taking place in an unburied test on the surface to test the discrimination capabilities of the detectors and the quality of separation of coin targets of the high conductor US Dime type and also a small 15.5...

Re: "UNDER THE IRON CARPET"

El Nino I for one appreciate your Tenacity in your quest for unmasking. Experimenting even to advanced levels of the (really Nice) nail blanket you have constructed is indeed a true passion quest. I await your finding's! One thing I may add to ANYONE experimenting is SWEEP SPEED for settings used o...

Re: "UNDER THE IRON CARPET"

That is also one of the main purposes of this testing... in the test the detector must have the iron discrimination set so... that a possible false response from iron in the carpet is eliminated or strongly suppressed,,, Very few detectorists realize that 2-3 or more nails under the detector coil ca...

Re: Manticore compared to one of Minelab PI units on Australian Salt Beach (Video).

That is a very accurate observation Keith.... 6-7 Bar Fe3O4 is somewhere at the level of 4-5% magnetite..in the field...and here a very good VLF detector /suitable for magnetic field/ can still be great with a PI Detector..where the detection limit is 8" per 1 gram of 24K gold.. ...But on magne...

Re: "UNDER THE IRON CARPET"

Ok......... sounds good. Those nails are so thick that........ I question........ if any detector can/could detect anything (coin-sized) under THAT THICK of a carpet-of-nails! That's another very good question... I personally think that small coins 15.5 mm nickel coins low conductor and small 10 ce...

Re: "UNDER THE IRON CARPET"

Yes, you are right Mr. Dankovski... it will be a system of 12 plastic tubes inserted at different points of the iron carpet..into which for the given testing place..a precisely given and numbered plastic pin with a coin at the detection limit will be inserted. ...for the given tested reference detec...

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE

Thank you for this information,, Mr. Dankowki..,, The fact that the F75 with a 7x11" coil found a total of 21 coins,,, and then the Manticore on 3 coils.. M11.M9, and M8 found a total of 21 coins..is an excellent result... and also speaks about how important it is to have at least 3 different s...
