I posted this on another forum, thought I would share here. This involves my use of HF2 coil in the wild.

You do realize I may have set a metal detecting record, right ?
Which record exactly.
Granted I have not watched every video in the world done with a person using a metal detector any model.
But has anyone done a video(s) calling the targets in the wild after locating saying the following below when the targets read in gold ring range (ID wise) on their detector model they are using.. And I only used ID behavior to say what I did below depending on the ID behavior of the targets.

Examples ::
Target is likely not a ring enclosure style target.
Target is likely a ring enclosure style target.
Or target is likely can slaw or foil not a nickel, gold ring, junk ring, pull ring or square tab.
Or say a target being swept is likely not a pull ring or a square tab or even a nickel or a gold ring or junk ring.
Or target being swept is possibly a nickel or can slaw but is unlikely a pull ring, square tab or junk ring or gold ring.
Or target is likely can slaw or a crusty zincoln penny but not a gold ring, junk ring or pull ring or square tab.
Or target has high chance of being a nickel, lower chance of can slaw and likely not a square tab or pull ring, gold ring or junk ring.

Go try this with your detector.

I actually made similar/same comments I posted above in the wild when sweeping the targets.
And how many times was I wrong? Not many!!

Think about this. Think hard. Ever hear of anyone doing this with any metal detector ? I haven’t.
When folks read this post. This may set off their light bulbs. It’s all true too !

I owned a White’s V3i model back in 2010/2012. It said something on the outside of the box. Think it was “know what’s in the ground before you dig”.

Here’s AI overview

The White's Spectra V3i is famous for its "know what's in the ground before you dig" marketing, powered by its SpectraGraph Target Analyzer. This advanced display analyzes and plots target responses across three distinct frequencies on the screen so you can identify deep treasures without disturbing the soil. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Ever hear a White’s V3i user when sweeping a gold ring range signal in the wild say what I posted above in the examples I gave? Or say using any model detector really?

This I posted on another forum as it pertains to Deus 2 hf2 coil.
Thought I would share here.

You see I could take this Deus 2 hf2 into an old site. Where modern trash exist. Where those old flat buttons could live.
And deer hunters, etc drink beer and soft drinks. Leaving pull rings and square tabs around.
I can go in there and select dig the targets yielding little to no ID rise when increasing frequency. And dig few if any of these so-called nuisance targets. Doing with ID behavior alone. But doing this I could infact miss a gold ring or junk ring say that maybe already existed in the site or one that was indeed lost more recent by say one of the hunters. But one exception, I can use this model and coil and actually dig signals yielding in gold ring range that report typically under square tab or pull ring range and dig those target and actually may find a gold ring. Example. Target reads 55 using lowest MF and yields 61 with highest MF.

Which model detector besides this Deus 2 can I do the above with exactly? I have not run a Versa model but the rest of the models I have run - this is a NO GO..

You see I have made some bold comments in this post and the post done few posts up.
Bold but true !!
And again noone has ever been able to say this before about another model. And I understand why, because I have run lot of these other detector models.

If I didn’t have these medical issues inside my family right now and lived closer to larger population area, or I could pack up and go visit some others here. And we could go detecting. And let each person describe what’s under their coil. I would describe too. I don’t believe it would take many targets for folks to see, uh oh. Ole Sharp is telling the truth. With what he has posted in this thread.
