Rick....... you should try the Manticore (with M8 coil) in Goldfield Mode. It's unbelievable! It will show you EVERY SINGLE masking/micro-masking target! It is SO powerful/ridiculous ....... beyond what I can handle........ that I end up having to use --- All Terrain - Low Conductors --- Mode....... ,,,,,,, which is STILL a extremely hyper-sensitive Mode. Couple either one of these Modes with: Prospecting Audio........ and you have a 'Professor' in your hands. . . . . . teaching you: Geophysics.
I do not dig iron at the beach; yet, will dig iron at prime inland/turf sites.

Thank you Tom. I will get get one and the m8 in the spring. Right now I'm snowed in till April. It is going to fun...I shouldn't have waited so long. I'll sell off some of my old detectors. About 6 of them.

I ordered the Manticore and the m8 today. I decided not to wait till spring. I don't know if the price will go back up. Got the Manticore and m8 for $1250. A lot better than the original price.

Sometimes........ Minelab runs a 'Holiday Special' on their Manticore's..... for $1199.00
