Re: Little Deus 2 using HF2 coil video I did
Folks following here as it pertains to hf2 coil behavior raising tone break to note target behavior tonally..
29 kHz MF Channel 0 right now imo best choice.
But. Trying to use this looking at higher conductor like copper penny it don’t work so good comparing to twist cap. Zincoln and copper penny read about the same ID using this channel. Works good with IH and zincoln though. Channel 3 of the 29 kHz MF band seems does with copper penny comparing to twist cap for which one is the bs target.
But. Here’s why channel 3 is bad choice to use on gold rings imo. Rings with standoffs for sets the channel 3 being higher freq sees this on the ring and it can make a ring like this sound more like square tab. So there’s a tradoff.
Also to note class rings reading higher channel 0 of the 29 kHz band likely could behave more like it does on copper penny.
For what I call the gold ring range channel 0 seems to be my top choice.
More testing and use in the wild I could change my mind. And if I do there will be video done showing g why down by me.
Targets reading less than 59 in the wild I likely wouldn’t even check using the tone break feature as long as enough id deviation is witnessed comparing channel 0 29 kHz MF band to the 89 kHz MF band channel 6.
I when testing in the wild will do this tone break test though just to see results gotten and how it fits into the bigger scheme.
More to come here,
