I asked the following questions and note the gentleman’s reponses.
Question : If I update my remote to version 4 when it becomes available and use my new WSA ST module, I understand I will experience some better/different sound. Answer : Correct, You will also need to update your WSAST to V4.
Question : If I have version 4.0 in my remote will the older headphones and older headphone WSA2 module pair with remote. Answer : Yes, of course, you simply won't be able to listen in stereo. Remaining part of Question : Realizing I won't get the better sound I would get either WST headphone module. Answer : You will be in Mono but it will work.
Question : The WS6 module I currently have. If it is updated to 4.0 will it if used with backphones or external wired headphones offer the better sound? Answer : Your WS6 will be able to send a stereo signal, but only to one of the new headphones, as your WS6 does not have a stereo output.
