WTB....Periscope Probe

I know this is a long shot, but, it doesn't hurt to try. If you have a working Periscope Probe you don't use and would like to sell it, please contact me with a price and pictures shipped to 78643. My email is dign4au2@yahoo.com.

Hello Dan,

I hope you found a Periscope probe, they are a rare find and a unique tool for the hobby. I've been using them since they were released, mainly for deep turf silver from old school yards, old parks and old homesteads.

They have a odd unique way to setup correctly, at the beginning during the learning curve some users may get frustrated. If this is your case have patience eventually you'll get the learning curve down.

I have two of them, hope I still have them both need minor work one needing a replacement off/on volume pot, the other I believe needs a new battery pack. These battery packs are not common, weird three prom connection so I'll probably need to modify the battery set-up on this particular one. When I moved three years ago, boxed up all small equipment and still to this day everything is buried under a mountain of metal detecting equipment.

Hopefully, You found one they are a unique detector tool. If I ever get back into the hobby will definitely use one for deep turf silver.

Take care Dan,
Paul
