I see some folk in the UK are reporting faulty coils and falsing/excessive chattering when wet.
No doubt nok/mak good customer service will quickly rectify it though.

i had that issue with the Nokta Velox and Golden Sense but i have also had that with a number of other detectors and coils F75 with Nel Tornado coil, DeepTech Vista Gold and early Smart coils Golden Mask 12 inch Spider coil too but i can not remember which GM detector.

Is the Simplex for sale in Europe? Not available yet in US.

The UK got a batch last week, and some folk flagged up the issue of chatty erratic coils when wet, so i guess it will be worth checking the US coils also when they arrive, it might be worth doing the same as the Nox test and dunking the whole detector in a bath for a time.
