So with the tilling some iron has been moved around. be interesting to see what I find. Site won't be ready to hunt for a while. Has produced spanish silver in the past. Site not plowed or tilled for decades before this last episode.

I am very eager to hear what your results will be. Hopefully it was a magic tiller that was used.

Have several colonial sites that the finds have dried up in because the ground is no longer tilled. Everybody does the no till planting nowadays. Good luck!

We have a lot of sites like that in NH. Don't give up if it doesn't produce much right away. It usually takes six months to a year for the soil to settle and get packed down to get the deeper targets that are out of reach when the soil is fluffed up.
