I think the 700 and 900 just beefed up the ears and attachment points on the coils themselves, thus why the old and new coils are interchangeable between 600/700/800/900.

700 and 900 have the new pod, shaft, and stem design with higher certified waterproof rating, -19 to 100 VDI scale, coil light, and vibration.
Basically all the shortcomings of the 600 and 800 addressed.

Steve, Will it even matter? If it down or up averages you're still going to have a tight dot on the non-ferrous line that will have you digging regardless.

I imagine it will be like the Vibraprobe, also a PI pinpointer, in that it would make my detector go crazy when you used it. I don't need my headphones going nuts in my ear every time I want to use my pinpointer!

Well, I'm personally highly annoyed by the pulled posts over on Findmall and this attitude of "everyone wanting a comparison should buy it". Next time they go shopping for a car, I think they should have to buy every one first..oh, and crash it themselves to see how it does for crash tests! Then they can re-buy the one that did best.
Sounds about as reasonable as what they say

I'm betting anyone that DOES know won't confirm. However, I kind of hate that attitude. With the Etrac out and White's new Vision, even a RUMOR of another detector as an upgraded F-75 with possible improvements is STILL going to make me sit on cash. And if it weren't, and I bought an F-75, I'd be a bit ticked off if a month later a new top Fisher was released.
