Yep, they need a mid-size search coil for sure and they promised one was in the works, but that has been a while back. I vote for 8-inch concentric.

That's a super nice detector, especially in iron, but I've made up my mind that I want to give a Vista X a try.

I'm a beep and dig guy at heart, but my body is losing interest as each year passes. It hasn't been but a few years ago I was digging several hundred targets a hunt and averaging a nice gold ring every 50 to 60 days dirt fishing. Beep and dig has its place but if I want to find old silver coins and don't want to do a lot of digging I grab my CTX 3030.

I've got WAY too many detectors, but I'm thinking about getting a Vista X. I need to sell some detectors or do some trading unless I run across a good deal that I don't want to lose out on. Shoot me a PM if you have one.

Damn my luck, I ended up with a super hot CZ5 and a NASA Tom certified 1021 CZ3D @ 11.9 inches. I'm still setting on the fence trying to decide. It looks like I'm going to have to spend some more time in the field with both detectors before deciding. That's my NEXT task at hand. Thanks for all the help everyone.

I haven't sold any of my finds. I put most of them in a safety deposit box at the bank. I figure gold and silver are better investments than paper money.

I was hoping that people would say to keep the CZ5 since it's deeper and sell the CZ3D. The CZ3D 1021 certified by Tom didn't come cheaply and I could recoup some of my money. I took a chance on purchasing the lower cost CZ5, but it turns out that it works great and is even a little deeper than the CZ3D. I'd be happy with either one because I've found several barber dimes with

I have a NASA Tom certified CZ3D and a CZ5. Both are in excellent condition. The CZ5 is a little deeper, but it only has 3 audio tones whereas the CZ3D has 4 audio tones. The CZ5 does better at parks with modern trash, but the CZ3D does a better job of finding older deeper nickels. Both are GREAT at finding deep silver coins and handling EMI. I DON'T need both! I have most of the lastest and greatest detectors in my detector arsenal including your 2 favorites the Deus & Nox and would love to detect alongside you 'relic hunting' using just two Tesoro detectors, the Mojave and my modded Cibola. I'm not per se a 'relic hunter' but I can easily pick non-ferrous targets from ferrous targets with those two detectors. I bet at the

I'll trade you a new open box Miccus SR-7 Stealth Headphones with the case and accessories for the WM-08 Module. They're the same as the Minelab ML 80 Headphones but without the logo.

The login went smoothly, you just have to read the instructions on how to do it. I haven't posted on there in years, but I do look at the Classified Forums and PM there every once in a while.

Most places that I detect have EMI issues, and this site is no exception. The FA Process Mode doesn't do well when EMI is present. The problem that I was having was with depth and nails. I was barely getting a response on 7-inch coins. L

Today, in less than 1.5 hours, my F75-DST with the SharpShooter search coil attached found me 20 wheat pennies, 3 Indian Head pennies, and a 1916 Canadian One Penny in an area of less than 1000 square feet. You'd think that I would have found at least ONE silver coin. By the time that I got the permission to detect the 1906 home, it was almost time to call it a day. I'm going back with

It all depends on the site and conditions, that's why I have both. Both detectors have amazed me with what they can do. Tomorrow and maybe the next few days, I'm taking my MXT Pro, CZ5, and F75-DST to a site that my hunting buddy and I detected super hard a few days ago with an Etrac, Equinox, and Deus. We managed to find 4 silvers from that already pounded to death site. I'm leavi

I have a Nox and will pair with 3 of my low latency headphone and I get the '+'. Trond Bluetooth devices will transmit and receive, BUT most of them will only be 'low latency' in the 'transmit' mode only, NOT in the receiving mode. The Nox is transmitting in low latency and you will only the '+' sign IF the receiving Bluetooth device is also low latency. I

You either have some really bad dirt or something is wrong with your detector. My CZ5 and Tom tuned CZ3D hit hard and accurately on deep nickels and silver coins without any problem.

This Fe and F2 iron bias thing is going to get really confusing fast, like what do you mean when you say 'F6' setting? How about using Fe-6 or F2-6 instead.

In just 101 short hunts using my F75-DST, I found 253 silver coins and a bunch of other good stuff including some gold and silver rings. I didn't get skunked once finding silver coins on those 101 hunts. I've acquired and still own more detectors, the CZ3D, CZ5, CTX 3030, Equinox, MXT Pro and Deus. I also own some Tesoro detectors which have found me my best finds. I've forgotten h

I sold my 950 search coil after I started using the SEF 8 x 6. The MXT Pro paired with the SEF 8 x 6 search coil is hard to put down. It goes deep and really does a great job separating targets.

That red clay soil (devil dirt) sure throws a wrench into things. I'd be asking what detector would do best for that type soil. I can't help you there because I'm blessed with really mild soil.
