I had a mate back in Oz make my picks and he set them over here, I think they are made from Disc plough blades they are a work of art and just the right size, I made the handle from a Beech Pick Axr hand I went and bought so that won't break, But I will order some of those tools from that UK company and see how it goes,

TH, if you had a mind to, you could polish out those scratches using a soft cloth and something like Colgate tooth paste by rubbing it around in tiny circles using one finger pressing a little firmly and when it dries as you spit on it like you do a combat boot and keep doing that and it will make them all but vanish, I did it on my GPS, It was a jeweller that told me about it,

The CTX did have a water Leak problem with the battery box and a few people have Drown them and I think minelab changed the wording to water resistant to cover their A$$

I have always used the older Bullseye II for a couple of reasons 1) it has the highest frequency most of them at 36 kHz, and 2) I noticed that so many people have troubles with them cross talking with their detectors, at the BE II will work within a foot of the coil of my MXT,
