i wouldnt want to trust any one model over and above any other model on gold alloys ,toomuch overlap on other targets to be certain.i know from gold finds they can be just about anywhere on the dial

made in USA means higher prices compared with the competition .an example is Leupold optics/scopes made in the US and the cheaper prices of Bushnell range made in asia .

theres a review of the CTX in the latest copy of the Treasure Hunting mag , and the reviewer reports the digging of foil signals ,aluminium can lids and nails ,so it appears it can be fooled by the usual junk targets

the answer is easy ,they never buried any in the first place .
cargos came in all types ,spices, pottery ,foodstuffs ,and even the ship itself for sale.
AFAIA no pirate treasure of any size has ever been found .although Cpt Kidd did leave a small stash behind but of little value .
bullion was in short supply except on the spanish ships from south america.
and they would have been too big a ta

i think that black in general does it for me ,i don't want to attract too much attention with garish colors like the certain machine in bright green.i prefer to keep it low key .

not in the UK ,Deus is still king of sales for top of range as seen at rallies and club digs ,once you see one in action you want one .
the price difference is the factor .600 more for the CTX is a barrier

everyone loves Tesoro machines , good quality inside and sturdy .they just seemed to have dropped the baton on R&D over the last ten years .they need a few gizmos to give them a kick .wirless headphones would be a major selling point IMO.

theres a small army of users who would always look at all models of machines but would never look at a ML model because of the overweight issue .
theyve (ML) been told about it but never address the issue .
a good proportion of global users are not young and cant swing a heavy machine no matter how well balanced it is.
and thats before we even look at the pricing .

you cant easilly make ML machines lighter by splitting the modules ,thats the problem ,they are too integrated to modify or split them up .
