Civil War Clothing Exhibition

For anyone interested in seeing a traveling exhibition on Civil War clothing and textiles, the Charleston Museum in South Carolina is presenting "The Threads of War". It runs through 05 September 2011. It is a great opportunity to see both uniforms and the adornment typically found on them. In addition, the Museum offers a superb collection of artifacts, relics, munitions and weaponry from the entire period of Charleston's rich history. I was fortunate to tour the Museum earlier this month and highly recommend stopping by if you happen to be in the area. The link follows:
