What are some favorite settings on the Nokta Fors Relic?

Just curious about some good working settings, I'm pretty new to detecting and the Relic is all new to me. My GB runs from 50 up to 85 here where I live,. Thanks

I've tried DI2 sensitivity 85. ID Mask 15 Imask 0 and when I hit targets the VID Is all over the place. A zinc penny jumps 70,83,87, .

In 2 tone set ID Mask from 0-4. Sent tone break from 20-30, Imask 0. Set iron tone where you like it. I set it at 1. Don't pay to much attention to the meter. If you are getting hits like that dig it. Go slow. High sensitivity is ok. In my ground I run in the 90's.

I'm just learning this detector too. I'm sure others will comment.

You are blending with other metals in the ground, very common and very telling if you listen. Put it in 3 tone and enjoy the orchestra!

If there is lots of trash, I go with DI3, ID Mask 4, Sens 85, iMask0, Tone Break 80 and use the small coil. Less trash DI2, ID Mask 4, iMask 0, Sens 80-85, Tone Break 20-30, Larger coil. I don't pay too much attention to the #s either as I dig all tones not iron. I keep the iron volume low: 1-3. The small coil is amazing in the trash. Good luck!
