Flat button with Latin writing on the back????????pic added

Hey guys. I found an interesting flat button. It looks like any other early 1800 flat button but this one has what looks like latin writing along the back edge . I dont know if I have an early political button or what. I will try to write the letters down later . They are weird shaped letters. Have any of you guys found anything thing like this? I found this button along with a 1812 artillery button and a 1780's 1/2 Reale

I am amazed at your knowledge of everything artifact related.
