Decisions, Decisions...

So, I have been working way too much lately to be able to get out and dig.
Work was slow today so I left and am going to gear up and get out.
I really wanted to relic hunt or coinshoot, but I need new spots and don't have the time to door knock today, so I am headed to Ocean City, Maryland to detect the beach since it's only a half hour or less from my house.
I was going to take the Racer 2 and Tiger coil I just got for it or the Detech Chaser, but then thought maybe I should take the Gold Racer for possible jewelry since it is 56 kHz....what machine should I take???

Take the Racer 2 and Tiger coil & give us a report.----Some of us are really interested in that coil.

Man u should do a quick video with ur cell phone of the tones of the chaser on a few coins and maybe a few options and post it to utube. I'd also love to see the racer 2 with the mars coil in action.

I'd love to see the chaser in action as well. I've not tried the mars coils but have the nel tornado on my R2 which i really like.

The Chasers tones are nice, I've had it out for a short hunt so far, seperates very nice

I recently got the Tornado as well, how does your lower rod fit?

Its an excellent coil, if not the best I have ever used, I had on for my 705 two years ago and felt the same way then. I have recently bought the Tiger and Discovery for my G2+ and cannot wait until they get here in the states so I can test the Discovery against the Ultimate Coil.

the tornado coil is a poor fit to the R2 stem, i made a plastic spacer which helps, but the bolt hole is way to big so it dances around a bit in use.

Mine is the same way, that's why I asked, I notified the company about it.

Its a great coil, I just got the Tiger and Discovery for my G2+ as well.
