Anybody know the trick?

The screw to tighten it is under the foam grip. ..peel it down from top

Just be careful not to strip it out.

Be careful rolling it back if the grip is older and more brittle..

Ive ripped them...the new they are the more flexible the older and more U.V. exposed and there easily ripped on roll down...

I found tightening it did squat,surprised me that it wasn't lose but the square shaft that fits into the grip,the hole is oversized so I shot some goop in there and put the screw back in and tightened it up. It'll never wiggle again but it'll never come apart either,hope she never throws a rod..lol

yep some of them are just loose and tightening does nothing....
