His main problem is going to be the dirt he's in..
We have no idea the type soil he has, Ill be its horrendous...Australia is the worlds worst..
If I were him I'd look at some Deeptechs if no meter were required..Maybe a DTVG or Warrior or even Smart plus.
A Relic works well in bad soil too as all the Mak/Noks do to a degree..They Have meters..
He may want to try and find an old Musky.. they were made for his soil ..no meter either..
He needs to talk to the local hunters were he's at..Our worst soil is is best soil..

A TDI would offer Him some advantages over the Infinium and about any other P.I. for that matter. In that he can set it up to coin hunt..
He would need to look for the Oz version of the TDI pro..
