1841-O Seated Half

My metal detecting mentor went out this morning and found 4 silver dimes,7 wheaties and a 1841-O Seated half in mint condition.He didn't find this in Montana.This is the 50th seated coin he has found from a cache he discovered.He was using his F 75.Tomorrow the site gets the Minelab Explorer treatment.We had freezing rain then a blizzard on top of that.The roads are like a mirror coated with Vaseline.The ground is frozen.Now the depression sets in.I may go to our families house in Melbourne Beach for a while this winter.Now I have to work on getting permission to hunt Tom's yard.Tom I'll bring you two 5 gallon buckets of nice mineralized Montana soil.I can use my neighbors backhoe and cut two nice plugs with rusty bottlecaps in them for further testing.Smile.Bill

I have zero problems with this..... as long as the 1841-O is 'in the mix'.
