I'm posting this for John S.,he doesn't have Internet access anymore.Tom he told me to tell you he found a 1855-O seated Half in Very Fine condition on Saturday. He also found his first Steel penny the 1943 Wheatie. It was stuck between 2 copper wheaties in the ground. It's corroded but you can make out the outline of Lincoln. He was using the SE.He found 3 other seated coins at this site with his F 75 in the last 2 weeks. He also found a 1954 Washington quarter,14 more wheaties and $14.83 in clad.

Thanks for posting this. That's spectacular. Approximately every 2 years, I find a Seated coin. They are just too deep in Florida..... and current technology can not ascertain needed depths to acquire. Normally when I find a Seated in FL, it is in 'turned' soil...... or a old roadway is lifted.
