CZ + Fz 12in coil Field Hunt

Hi Tom first timer here have been reading forum for some time great stuff
As is your DVD .I picked up a CZ 70 to back up my F75 for rainy days and
wet sand beach hunting and power lines .Have only used CZ at the beach
How would you hunt with CZ + FZ 12in coil in a open feild Do you notch out iron
or let it come thru for ID I can hit a dime at 14.75in in air test
with sen at 6 Thank you Mike G

PS On deep targets my pinpoint scale stops at 10in with the VCO sound do you use
the Xing system

The only time I would use a large coil inland..... is if targets are few and far inbetween,,,,,, just like the field conditions you are using it in. Because of tone-ID..... I never use any Disc on a CZ. Let the tones tell you what is under the coil. Besides,,,,, you WANT to know if you hit a nail-infested patch of dirt...... as that is where a structure most probably existed; subsequently, where the most good targets will be at. Then switch over to a small coil......or....... better yet, use the F75.

Yes, I 'X' targets sometimes so as to acquire a better pinpoint location.
