Gold bug in iron

Went to a small site where a church stood years ago. Coins are few and far between but it is a good test site.
We have hunted this with several hunters off and on for the last few years with no silver.
I hit my first silver ever from there last week . A 1876 dime with the LTD and 5 in coil.The next night i got a
Indian head with 11 in DD .
Last night took the GB w 11in DD disc of 25 sen at 80 first target hit a tight 71 and clean tone , down about 6 inches
and grabbed a Indian head. Then as i passed the coil over a plug dug a few days ago, another clean tone and strong ID
and popped a 41 wheaty. Both targets were in heavy iron . My hand pinpointer was useless sounding off on all the iron in the ground.
The reason the wheaty was left behind on first recovery. But the clean tone and tight ID said dig me all day.
