Low powered pulse detector

I read on another forum about a possible low powered pulse unit being developed, I think by Eric Foster ( sorry if that is incorrect Eric)
May have the ability to work at 5 micro sec. Could this be the silver bullet for micro gold in wet salt sand. May also rival high freq. vlf units for
that fly sht gold. At 1300 an oz there my be renewed interest in the small stuff.

Exciting times!!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but as a saltwater/beach detector, is there a point where a 5 microsecond pulse delay is too short ( ie the wet salt sand becomes the target) ? , However the dry/salt or inland iron soil would truly benefit? Tri

In dry sand......I would rather have a ID & Disc capable VLF unit.....vs.....a PI for the dry sand.

......Yes, I heavily question 5uS. Wet salt becomes a good target when pulse delay is dropped down to around 7.5uS - 8uS.
