There is also the pro model, weighs 12 pounds and is perfectly balanced.
There are reports of a lead upgrade, weighing in at 13 pounds total, but early reports say, due to the batteries being pulled behind you on wheels, it is more like 11.1 pounds.

And wait till you hear about the angle of the screen.

Weight will not be an issue, it carries a new military "Air Luft" (patent pend.) zero gravity design. That 20 pound beast with long lasting lead acid batteries will be light as a feather.
Alien technology, stolen from the Martians, who is now suing Minelab in Galaxian Court..................................What the heck is "Terra Grab"? Found on this new detector.

DeepTech Vista X with 3 search coils.
Works for me

No it's Not, Mine is not going to stop working just because someone else brings out a new machine, and why on earth do people have to buy tickets when they can just go to the dealers to get one. ?

Hopefully this is Minelab's new detector patent details below.
Minelab’s new patent. A detector with magnetic field
Minelab has concluded the registration of a patent in which a metal detector with magnetic field generator is described. The patent promises a revolution in the field of metal detector discrimination. So let’s wait for the new product 2018, shall we?

They started in 2014, obtained the patent in 2016, and… probably in the next 2 years or so, we’ll see the result. This is how metal detectors of the future are created. The NEW 2018 category is open. All about Minelab is collected here.

I hate selling hype. If you got it....... put it out there. Then once it out there its the greatest thing since peanut butter...... from those who bought it. 6 mos. later its in the closet. Give us the specs and let us knock it around with the proto type....... not after its out and the dang thing leaks or there were things that could have been improved and once produced the problems take forever to fix. I guess they want to sell a big batch of machines before they get the bashing of things they should have fixed.

Regardless of what they (ML) bring out is not going to make all others obsolete, They will still work as intended and will still make finds of all descriptions, ML's new machine might be wonderful new tech but that is all it will be, I may be deeper and it may have better disc but that is all it will have, we heard this rubbish when the CTX came out but in bad ground and junk filled sites a single frequency machine will still wipe the floor with it from junk filled sites to prospecting, Because once you start to disc items out the machine nulls out and slows down.

As for buying tickets, what are these tickets for? just to hand over money to you in hope that they might win such a machine or what, So whats the catch ?

So what you are saying is... we will see new technology in 2 years ("or so"), but we can buy a ticket now?

Some of you guys must REALLY hate when auto makers release "new" cars. tongue sticking out smiley

"This is just based on the combustion engine that's been around forever!"

"Just bells and whistles like airbags, blue-tooth, and backup camera added to old tech. Nothing to see here. Move along."

"Wake me up when something truly revolutionary is released. I can drive my 1976 Ford Maverick as good as you drive your 2017 Audi R8 and it basically does the same thing."

"You guys are getting ripped off paying that much for new cars, and they don't work any better than my Maverick!"

Come on...eye rolling smiley

Lol, yep I think your right on that one,,, How anyone can claim that a new product is going to make all others obsolete is beyond me, I have a 28 year old Whites 5900 that will smoke any thing that is on the market when it comes to depth so this new one is going to have to be mega powerful.

I have also few.. Nautilus DMC IIB, IIBa... and I love it. Audio line is smooth and comfy. I don't know better. Only one minus - recovery speed. But I can work with it in forest all day long.

They are legendary machines for sure, I don't see them being out paced for a while yet.
