Hunting two old houses

My buddy and I hunted 2 old houses yesterday and did great. 6 of the pennies were Wheaties and one Indian head. Also found one silver Rosey. The rest were clad. A sweet little old lady came over to see what we were doing so we showed her how we detected. She then borrowed my Garrett Pro Pin Pointer and checked her replaced hip for metal and broke into a big smile when the pointer sounded off. She was nice enough to bring us each a Coke. The lady will be 91 in April. I love this hobby because of the pleasure it gives and the people you meet. We only got the front yard of one house detected so have plenty of hunting to do at these properties.

Hilarious. Wish there were more people like her around.

Can you imagine the poor thing if she ever tried to go through airport security? Yikes.

Gotta love the older folks - they're a hoot!!

I figured out a long time ago that the finds were secondary. People and the beautiful places are way out in front.
