The reviews are starting to trickel in.
Read of a respected dealer using one.
A little heavy , ok is a water machine ,understandable.
No deeper than E trac, ok but if it separates better still a win.

Would feel better with after market arm cuff and strap. Really for 2 Grand + and you need to buy after market parts for it . uhh

It looks like an excellent machine with superb disc. But as you said the weight is still a little bit in the back of my mind. I am really curious about the Fisher CZ when it comes out with that DD coil (I hope). Maybe then we will get a light multi freq unit that packs up nice...

Until we see some comparsion videos (like I did with the E-Trac Vs. V3i), we really don't know... It is nice to pull coins from hunting out spots, but conditions change and such. I don't discount the credibility of the people, just saying we need these reports more scientific is all (for that kind of money).

I do like the sturdy build and ability to get in the water, which will be a first for me and probably allow me to pay for the unit in one summer!
