Simply put get a tide table for the area you are working and get there just as it recedes and work the tide out usually results in a good hunt...

Does it display any information on beach erosion or have surf cams at selected beaches?

Detecting since Feb, 2010
E-trac with 18"x15" SEF, 13" Ultimate coil, Pro coil, Minelab 8" coil, 4.5"x7" SEF, Sunray target probe

not sure but, clicking on different tabs will get you different charts and info!!!! one that i like is wave energy and wave direction.....you can extrapolate erosion potential from that.

That’s what I was afraid of. Sounds like you have to be familiar as to how swells, wave energy, and wave direction affects a particular beach or section of a beach.

"SECTION" of beach is correct. Yes..... this is 'advanced' training; yet, is fairly simple.
