Any changes to the F75 SE for mineralized dirt vs. Minelab??
January 12, 2013 12:29AM
Hello all and Happy New Year.

With the begining of a new year (and perhaps new model year) I wanted to see if there has been any changes made to the F75/SE that will finally overtake the Minelab SE for deep silver coins in our Western states mineralized rich soil.
I currently use the Explorer SE with the standard 11" Pro Coil.
I want to have the best machine possible and just want to be sure I am running as close to 100% as possible.
Detect mostly in turn of the century parks and about 30% on fields.

Thanks!!

Peter

No new changes to the F75 SE/LTD. Both units are hair-splitting close on depth performance ... for silver coins.
Gold coins is a completely different story........... with a large difference (performance gain) going to the F75 SE.

Absolutely correct.
I might add one thing.
Don't be afraid to turn the F75 down if it gets noisy.
You can go as low as 60 and still get near maximum depth.
The same holds true for comparing the Etrac to the F75 SE/LTD, first hand experience.

Wow thank you Tom. You know, I will gladly take one gold coin vs hundreds of silver coins any ole day of the week.
Knowing the ratio of those and in the times of uninsured banks and dis-trust of paper money.
I think the F75SE/LTD will be next on my list.

I ordered the 2 DVD package as well so looking forward to replacing my worn copy of inland hunting and checking out the new beach DVD.
All the best in 2013!

Thanks Markg. You know your right. I actually run my machine lower than most and get great depth.
Appreciate the comment.
