I speculate it may not be any deeper..... even in my Florida low mineral dirt. If it could achieve CZ/F75/Exp depth....... yet, have iron handling abilities somewhere between CZ-to-Vista Gold ..... (which is does)...... then it would suit a genuine purpose. I'm just concerned.......... esp without a boost mode....... that it's depth gain is only marginal (at best) above the boosted Vista Gold.
But THANKS for the offer.

I would be interested in having the Smart tested.

You know........... that brings up another good point I should clarify. If there are enough folks that truly want me to test a certain/specific unit and publicly report/post the findings...... and time permits............. just holler.

That sounds great Tom, but I bet it will open a can of worms! For whatever reason, people seem to get very defensive about their detectors, lol.

I'd like to see the Deeptech vista Relic tested in Tom's mild Florida soil.....could be interesting.

That's a heck of an offer, Tom.

Deathray, it is what it is....right? That's the way I see it.

Tom, did you do extensive testing with the Garrett AT Pro?? I think I DID read somewhere. I wish that we had 'stickies' (is that what their called?) at the top for easy navigation to the detector that we want to read about....analysis-wise.
PS. And the Fisher F5

Yes....... and I believe I titled the thread as: Garrett AT-Pro Field-test.
It may be many pages down by now.

Thanks. I'll look fer 'em. I thought I'd remember seeing one. For some reason, the AT Pro keeps calling me back. One is on the brown truck and headed my way. Both coils. I may do some testing in my soil with my new camera and mount. I've been wanting to make some vids but I have run out of any productive sites.

Tom, you mentioned in the past you would like to see the American manufactures break out some newer higher performance machines to advance the hobby. Grab and test any European machine you can find.......That may just get the American companies creative juices flowing......although Im sure they are not sitting still....... Competition can do amazing things.
