metaldetectingforum.com] Its an intersting coil, thou i think its pretty sensitive and not quite as stable as the SEF. But it can be ran with high sensitivity here on the Gulf side with great results in the dry sand. Takes a little more playing with the sensitivity to get it the way you want it in the wet sand near the surf. If you run to much sensitivity and go cross the grain..... say North to South you will definately hear any black sand. Not sure thats a bad thing knowing where these concentrations are.
