Grandson new to detecting

My grandson is 11 years old. I gave him a Ace 250 detector for his birthday. He went on his first real hunt , not in his own yard, this weekend. Below are his finds. He called me when he returned home and sent me this photo. "I think he is Hooked on detecting now" He said he did not know what kind of coins some of them were, he had never seen any like them...lol

Bet he sticks with it too. When my son was 7or 8, I would let him tag along...I set him up with a Silver umax, and crank the disc all the way...he'd kill it on change. Glad to see kids doing ANYTHING outdoors!

All we need is more competition.....Seriously tip of the hat for a good gesture and indeed a nice hobby to start him with...unfortunately expect a break in hobby when girls come into the picture...

Will, I have not seen the coins at this time. I plan to visit him soon. Maybe I can identify them for him.
