Changing GMP housing instead of coils,

Picked up three NEL coils, Got to say they are built well and priced reasonable especially for a coil from across the pond and they even came with a coil cover.

To be honest, It's a hassle changing out coils guess I'm getting lazy just hate changing coils especially out in the field. Decided to put together a shaft for each of the NEL coils so the housing can be removed in seconds and mount to a standard shaft yet able to remount back to the stock shaft in seconds, Here is the first shaft fitted with the smaller NEL coil, That's one down two more shafts to go for the other two NEL coils.

The mounting bracket is from a Whites Battery door, Trimmed it down and over a hot stove burner folded the piece of plastic into shape then after cooling down slides into the same housing slot, The shaft still collapses down almost to the same size as the stock shaft in seconds for backpack storage.

For any of you that purchase a newer GMP version well here's a solution going with a standard shaft, Very simple just make a mounting bracket that slides into the housing slot and mount that piece onto an S-handle or Straight shaft underneath the arm-rest. Any shaft will work no need to go fancy if you prefer something simple, This is just to get you going.

Thanks for looking,
Paul (Ca)

Thanks Keith,

Wasn't aware we could get this special mounting bracket, that makes it a whole lot easier if one wants to go to another shaft.

Thanks again,
Paul
