funny as hell until you realize YOU live in a place like freekin MICHIGAN and it never stops snowing!

It snowed an 2" or so just a day ago again

and

we still have a good 50% snow cover on the ground here with frozen solid ground for the most part :-(

The good part is - there's areas of grass starting to show again AND this cold can't last for too much longer!

Spring has sprung. Our ground snow is gone here in SE. Pa.
We have had near 2 feet of snow in April in the past...not out of the woods, yet.

Have to get the veggie garden prepped, seed potatoes should be planted by now. Have to put 1/4" wire mesh down and into the ground. The voles chewed on 90% of the potatoes last year......the're so cute....

There is much to do after that winter....chores and projects have to take priority around here to keep a happy atmosphere....it's a balancing act.

I have a warning gauge, whether I like it or not, I can check (or it checks me) on a daily basis. It took me years to learn how to read it.

Very complex gauge. It has a verbal warning, very easy to hear (no mute button), it often lets me know to get my ears checked. It shows facial expressions and has feelings. The darn thing can cook, clean, do laundry and can even drive a car.....oh yea, forgot to mention, this gauge is equipped to give orders a---n---d opinions... so I don't have to think much.

I must say though,... it's a nice piece of equipment.

Hey - where do you get one like that!!?

I had one of those at one time but it never cooked (and when it did the food was terrible), it didn't clean all that much and it always made me do my own laundry --- I had to get rid of that one but yours sounds like a dream compared to mine - I'm almost jealous!

Ha Ha MRH, You have to give a thorough check at the factory where the gauge was made. I didn't really do that, I just have dumb luck.

Your watching too much TV...put on the snow shoes and go for a walk..

Supposed to be in the 50's today so may venture out but also calling for rain..certainly been a long winter....

I've seen SNOW (Montreal) and I've seen SUN (California) ... and I like SUN the best!

Can detect here 365 days a year (with a waterproof detector). I detect about 350 days.
