Sealant Question

When sealing a coil that has been taken apart, what type of sealant would I use around the seam.

If you think the plastic is ABS, use ABS cement. It's sold by plumbers merchants, for pipe gluing. There is a similar adhesive specifically for PVC. I have seen cements described as suitable for both these plastics, but I guess some compromise in bonding performance could result.

I would check the contents of any used for iron or anything that might compromise the ability of the coil. Even those big long name additives can be checked on your PC....
