Has anybody had an ATPro apart?

Saw this pic on the web [4.bp.blogspot.com]
And it got me curious...lol. I see it has 2 pots on it and started wondering if they possibly could be used to adjust sensitivity like some of the other detectors...
Probably a dumb question but couldn't help it.....lol

I'm pretty sure that one (or possibly both) will be the Master Ground Balance adjustment, used to calibrate the machine so it sees a ferrite target as Zero degrees phase.
I would advise leaving well alone.

Pimento is right. Resist temptation. smiling smiley

That's the biggest fear I have about buying used detectors. It's that someone has monkeyed with the calibration, rendering the detector inefficient/unstable at best and worthless at worst.
Just this year, I've had to send in 3 new/used units in to be re-calibrated for that very reason. Cost about $400+ total.
