Looks like now if you buy new White's V3i you get free additional 13" coil

And the same coil is offered for the MXT for around $100.

So now after purchase, you can anchor a bigger boat it seems.

You may be right? I'm looking at the flyer and it doesn't say that the Detech will be subbed out for the d2 on the v's I do believe they meant in exchange for and not in addition to. This could cost them some dough?

According to what I see on big K's site, it's an additional coil the way they have their page/info configured. Same for MXT. I guess our recent discussion was close to spot on it seems. I knew the Deus was a putting some heat on them. They are trying to move their detectors it seems. Why not just cut the price overall????? Wonder if Minelab will respond with something similar or even XP??? Minelab could give the small coil with CTX w/stock coil purchase. That'll work. XP could offer extra coil with Deus package at reduced price. That'll work. Wonder what ole fox is a saying??? Wait...."In my sweet soil.................." LOL

It was my understanding it wasn't in addition to? If it is in addition to then you could sell either coil to reduce your overall cost. They don't make it clear at all...

It says free Detech Coil with purchase of V3i. How is one supposed to interpret that. It wouldn't be free if the coil is subbed out for stock coil. No mention of that either.

I posed the question to my distributor and here is the reply.
"With the V3i and the VX3 they come additional with the detector at no charge. With the MXT or MXT All Pro they do not come with them automatically, you have to order them when you order the detector at $99.95 (Customer).
Each detector will come with the standard coils also."
