Enough politics. What have you found lately? I went out and didn't find crap, but I learned a lot about my new Core....

Wheats, a corroded Buff nickel, and nothing else worth posting. My travel has decreased somewhat so I may do better in the near future. These past years I've often gone months without picking up a detector. But summer is tough in the South; the clay dirt turns rock hard.

But I did pick up an interesting 1943 penny that reads 74 on my F75.

Mull that one over...

All depends on the corrosion when it comes to wheats..usually the more its corroded the higher it reads....

On standard T2 with factory settings 1-tone every other audio option suffered~ 29-35 with the middle numbers the most prevalent , on a side note with un-corroded steel Lincoln laying on floor the best signal where you would dig was the coin just off the center of either side of DD coil? HH

It's silver.

Then it would be super rare as a silver planchet would have been used. If the weight is of a silver dime of that period it might be worth investigating.
