Equinox 800 target #s - Field 2 mode, only

Field 2, auto noise cancel, auto ground balance, recovery speed 5, 5 tone


Used all-metal to select clean area for test.
Various targets as noted. L&S denotes larger and smaller target items of same type.
Near is with coil just above target. Far is with coil near the height above target of non detection. Mid was deemed not helpful.
Near readings were almost always rock steady on one number. Readings near extent of detection height generally ran a point higher on average, most showing a fluctuation of 2 or 3 points, a few showing a fluctuation as much as 4 points.

These are MY numbers using MY detector in MY ground (back yard of my home).

I may clean this presentation up with a neat chart...or I may not. Either way, I trust some may find this helpful to them.

Good thread. It might be interesting to see more of this type of post from other areas, in different conditions and soil types.
It would be good to compare this type of data on a spread sheet.
