I would say the Larger coil netted a couple more inches on Silver..
The stock 8 is only 7.25" and the 10 is 10.5"..
you will dig some deep coin and or relics with the Musky with either coil...I used the 8 mainly and dug foot deep items ..Alot lighter.
It loves deep large cents and Half Dollars...
