Gold Racer

Haven't heard much about the Makro Gold Racer.----Aside from using it as a nugget machine--how is it for coins & relics (with that 56 kHz)?----Many of you guys purchased & using that detector?-----------Del

I have one and have only used it an hour or two, it seemed to pick up coins rather well, but you have to remember it is going to pick up every tiny piece of metal as your going. My spots are very trashy, but I do plan to run it more to go after relics.

Very stable machine that is helping me clean my test bed and it's able to grab the tiniest of items with ease.... great audio and works a treat around iron, nice machine indeed.
Would love to hit America or Australia for some nugget hunting, be awesome I feel.
