Impact

I have had an Impact on the local parks two days running.

LOL


I went out Wednesday night about 10:30pm and got back around 6:00am.
The weather here has just started rebounding after some rains, some record rains in fact.
So, it's been sunny about a week. I figured to do some searching.

This is what I scurried up on Wednesday night into the wee hours.




I went out on Thursday night, leaving about the same time and getting back at 4:30am,....but with a twist.
Hadn't done it in a long time because I lost the tool I used, but I found the same tool and used it Thursday night.

This tool
Zoom Earth

This was formerly know as "Flash Earth"
It was the number one tool I used to zero in on places to detect.
One day, it was gone. This Zoom Earth is the exact tool.

I went to startpage and searched best parks in a certain area.
This brought up lots of results. Among the results "Yelp" results, complete with pictures.
If I see sand or wood chips in the pictures I write that place on a note pad. I found four places worth looking at.
I put the addresses into Zoom Earth and take a close up look.
This tells me how to get there, where the playground is, best place to park, etc.

I searched for parks in a nice area. Beautiful parks, clean as a whistle.

A friend of mine has been on me to check the grass more.
The finds in the upper right corner are from grass recoveries.
(a quarter, nickels, pennies, screw caps, etc.)


So, some coins, a key, a Chinese coin, four hot wheels.
