This is for you Rick or Mega or J&D..

I've tried this setting on plowed wheat fields, would love to travel to the UK and hunt sometime and take the IDX Pro and a few coils.

Take an IDX Pro with the stock 950 coil and make these adjustments. Black Sand "ON",,, set Disc. on Minimum,,, Sensitivity on Maximum,,,Freq Adj at Pre Set,,,Then find a target free patch of ground and adjust Ground Balance into the Negative while raising and lowering the coil to the ground (bobbing). Stop adjusting GB Negative when it first starts to makes a beeping as coil is raised 'upwards' from the ground. Now after finding the bottom of the Negative GB, start adjusting towards Positive side until it gets quiet ... and you are now done with the GB. You may have to back off of Sensitivity some but not much, Now you have an All Metal Depth Monster in your hands that will surprise some Pulse owners...LOL

Randy

Edit to say that adjusted this way all metals including all sizes of iron is going to respond and you have to watch the meter closely....
