Mostly Union State buttons. The Maryland is post war. The Dollar was found in Delaware at a Colonial Mill site. [www.flickr.com]

US Gold dollar reads in the foil range on my f-75, memory serves me. What detector were you using AG?

I think on most units a Gold Dollar Coin reads Foil? Not that I was lucky enough to Dig one.
Someday I hope to find one along with a Silver Dollar.

IIRC a US $1 gold coin will TID at 21 on the F75.

Super finds George!!

I was out after work yesterday detecting a mission era scrape, not too much to show for it, couple of flat buttons, a barrel tap, pocket watch back, fired round balls, a lots of camp lead. Tough site!
