Not only that, but I had to chuckle with the headlines anyhow. Notice it's "found" (past tense). Right ? But then you read the article, and some clown only THINKS he "found" it. He has it narrowed down to a certain meadow, or lake bottom, or field, or whatever. But in his mind's eyes, he's "found" (past tense) it already.

This is so typical of dreamy eyed ghost story legend hunters. They make news, or pop into an md'ing forum, about a treasure they "found" (past tense). Now it's merely a matter of over-coming govt. regulations, land-owner permission, etc.... Or a detector than can detect 6 meters deep, or a back-hoe that can dig up a field, or information on how to surreptitiously export and melt 500 pounds of gold, blah blah blah.

It's gotten to where I simply don't believe in any of these treasure legends anymore.
