Mark , 8500, 9000, condor and so forth, which non rechargeable batteries is preferred from you users.

Meant to use AA Nicad batteries 1.2 volts.
Any 1.5 volt Alkalines will be better than the 1.2 volt Nicads. I generally would buy what was on sale--Duracells, Eveready. Don't overlook the Walmart brand.
