Did anyone watch the video I posted? And what are your thoughts on the 6 inch coil?

It's incredible to pass the nail board test with a hammered penny.....and with an 11 inch DD coil, the 6 inch coil was airtesting 8-9 inches with recovery speed 8!
I'd love to see Keith's review with the 6 inch coil....although we don't know how it performs in red dirt yet.

I didn't like video. Could be misleading.
Why?
Maybe I missed, did the gent sweep nails only?

Cause if he didn't could be falsing heard vs the coins.

I have experimented, won't go into details here.
But I didn't get what the gent got in the video.

From what I seen. He went over the nails with no coins first then added the coins.

I'm not sure but when he tried it with the cut quarter it went pretty quiet from a couple of directions which it wouldn't do if it was just falsing on the nails...but yeah he should have swept nails only first.

I can get pretty close to passing with mine but it has trouble with position 1 # 2 and position 2 #4 down the barrel..
I can actually get it to sound off on the entire test if I manipulate the coil a bit.
I’m thinking that everyone uses different nails and coins and that might influence outcome.
I use rusty dug up nails and tried to match them to the nail Photos on the board as close as possible..
All it takes is one wimpy nail in the right position and the test could become easier.. I’m impressed with the results knowing it’s a 11” round coil.
Run your FBS Detector over that test and you will quickly appreciate the Equinox..

X2!!!

So the Impact's coil is smaller area wise,,a different shape vs Equinox.
So does impact have advantage all the time in the field detecting (3D scenarios alerting) ???
Um
How about Deus wearing the mighty 11" coil, is it always disadvantaged to Impact in the field 3D scenarios alerting?

Deus will in fact see things Impact won't ever see,,round coil (bigger) is a contributor.
Could Equinox be similar here to Deus?

Um.

Just some things for folks to think about.

Wonder if Equinox violates any laws of physics ?
Remember someone here has stated this about Xp Deus.

It seems to me his nail board was larger than mine. I bet I could replicate his results with a larger nail board. But I do admit that was the first time I ever did a nail board test.
