My first impressions on the equinox 800

So I was out of work on business (just so happened to be in the same town my dealer is!) so I picked up my Equinox 800.
I charged it all the way home. Put it together and ran out to my hammered school. (Closed for good)
I ran park 2 the whole time. The unit is light, coil doesn’t false much at all AND I really like the Handel that vibrates more on shallow targets vs softer on deep ones.
I only had an hour and I dug some junk targets and a few memorials. Overall it seems great. My only complaint is the depth meter is not that great. (I’m spoiled on the Etrac — I can call the depth and target 90% of the time)

I did film some of my hunt and I’ll post to YouTube (link below) tomorrow. I also filmed the deus vs equinox in my test bed. It’s on official minelab users group Facebook page.
I have many.. many hours ahead of me to test the settings. But I’m looking forward to it!
